Josh Priester serves as the Executive Director and Head Coach of the Santa Barbara Track Club at Westmont (SBTC). Priester founded the SBTC in 2012. Since its formation, the SBTC has become one of the most decorated track clubs in the United States. SBTC athletes have garnered a total of 4 USA Championships in the combined events and jumps. SBTC athletes have accounted for 31 Top-10 USA finishes in both indoor and outdoor combined events. SBTC athletes have accumulated 9 podium (top-three) finishes in USA National Championship competition.

Priester has been a member of 3 Team USA coaching staffโ€™s. Prior to founding the SBTC, Priester was the Associate Director of Track & Field at UC Santa Barbara (2008-2012). In this position, Priester worked with UCSB sprints, hurdles, jumps & combined events.

Priester began his coaching career at his Alma-Mater, George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. He earned a Masterโ€™s Degree in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama. Priester and his wife, Nicole live in Carpinteria.
